The Charlotte Kill.
Why's it called that?
A few years ago I was sitting in the bar. It was the birthday of one of the students, and a couple of her friends approached me.
"We need something special for her to drink, but it has to smell nice or she won't touch it"
I ran my eye down the optics and came up with the following:-
The Charlotte Kill.
Two Measures of Vodka
Two Measures of Archer's
One Measure of Southern Comfort
One Measure of Dark Rum
Top up with coke and add a slice of lemon.
I actually never got to taste my creation myself, but it smelt divine, and those that did try it were impressed.
The Barman recorded this newly created cocktail and added at the bottom:-
"optional- strong person to carry you home"
Unfortunately for Charlotte, this was exactly what she needed.

Just ran across the Charlotte Kill. Our version is simpler.
In a manhatten glass, One shot of southern comfort, one shot of peppermint schnapps. Ice, and seltzer water to fill.
